Most of these side effects are subjective and resolves with time.
The risks of consuming emergency pills are minimal and, they are available in most drug stores and health centers. There is no need for a prescription to purchase plan B pills. However, you might require a prescription for regular birth control pills. Emergency contraceptives do not affect your ability to get pregnant later in life. You also need to know that it offers no protection from sexually transmitted diseases. You must use sexual barriers such as condoms and other contraceptives to protect yourself from STDs.
